At home against the Jazz, winners of 11 out of their last 12, the Blazers couldn’t muster up enough offense or defense to take home a victory. Playing without injured guard Brandon Roy, LaMarcus knew he needed to pick up the slack on both ends of the court. He did just that, leading the Blazers in scoring (27 points), rebounds (12) and assists (five). He also played with tremendous toughness and aggressiveness, getting to the foul line 15 times in the game. Despite LA’s efforts, the Blazers couldn’t hang with the Jazz late, eventually falling 118-105.
