Question:

Are you a fantasy football player? (Alex, Lake Oswego)

Answer:

I don’t play fantasy football but I do love the NFL. My team is the Cowboys which is only right being that I’m from Dallas. Also, one of my good friends Tank Johnson is on the team.

Question:

Do you have any magazines that you like to read?

Answer:

There aren’t any that I can’t go without, but I look at ESPN the Magazine every now and then and also Slam.

Question:

In your opinion, what’s the best part about being on the Blazers? – Hunter, Portland

Answer:

Without a doubt, the best part about being a Blazer is the fans. The fans here are so loyal it feels like a college team with how close the fans and players are. They have such a great passion for the team that it makes it fun to be a part of and makes you want to work harder to make the team successful.

Question:

Can you feel the excitment for this season building?

Answer:

I definitely feel it from the fans. Going to the store, being out and about, the atmosphere is better. People love seeing you out, the love talking to you. They always say, ‘I got season tickets’ or ‘I’m going to be at this game or that game.’ So I think you can definitely feel a different atmosphere right now.

Question:

What are your thoughts on some of the new guys like Oden, Rudy, Bayless, and Diogu? (Tyler, Bend, OR)

Answer:

I think all the new guys are going to make us better. Hopefully they will give us that push to get to the playoffs. Oden isn’t new to the team but he will be a big force to deal with. Jerryd looks good. He is like a younger Brandon Roy. Ike Diogu will help a lot as well. We needed a big body down low last year to help Joel out, and Ike should help with that this year.
